Our Team

Our team includes a dynamic and passionate group of experts and specialists committed to bringing our mission of delivering the most ergonomically correct products to market. We have assembled an astute and accomplished Advisory Board to monitor and anticipate trends in the field of ergonomics and to brainstorm cost-effective ways to make ergonomic products available for mass consumption.

Our ergo~health Advisory Council members are specialists in a range of disciplines, evaluating overall health and wellness from a variety of perspectives. We are pleased to draw upon the expertise and knowledge of the following members, all recognized experts in their field:

  • Dr. Brian Hands, M.D. FRCS(C) - Ear, Nose, and Throat Specialist
  • Dr. Sidney W. Lisser, B.Sc. Chiropractor, Acupuncturist
  • Clare Ollerhead, B.Sc.(Kin.) Registered Massage Therapist
  • Ron Pascucci, President of Multirim Inc.
  • Laurie Horne, Vice President of Springwall Sleep Products Inc.

Dr. Chris Oswald, CEO & co-founder of ergo~health has 19 years experience as one of Canada's leading chiropractic authorities. He operates a successful multidisciplinary practice located on the penthouse floor of an office tower at Yonge and St. Clair. He has 11 associates in the clinic and an advisory board of other practitioners who test and evaluate the product for patient feedback and commercial viability. Dr. Oswald's decision to create his own line of ergonomic products was based on his dissatisfaction and frustration with existing products that fell short of their claims. His client base of 6,000 serve as an ongoing focus group for product ideas and testing based on real consumer needs. Dr. Oswald is co-author of Stretching for Fitness Health & Performance, a best seller around the world and he is forever the consummate researcher around a variety of health related interests. Chris is a father of three daughters and enjoys his passion for sports and fitness.

Greg Bandler, co-founder of ergo~health has been in business for 23 years in both large corporate and entrepreneurial environments, spanning retail, consumer packaged goods, technology and financial services industries. Greg began his career at Loblaw Companies Ltd. where he was involved in a number of innovative initiatives including private label branding and new store formats. He honed his consumer packaged goods marketing skills at General Mills. Greg assumed key leadership positions in sales and marketing with a number of retail oriented technology companies including Catalina, Actmedia and Triversity, all of which experienced dramatic growth under his strategic vision and leadership. Currently Greg is Senior Vice President Sales & Marketing with Canadian Home Income Plan Corporation. Greg lives in North Toronto with his family including an 19 year old son and 15 year old daughter. Like Chris, he enjoys cycling, skiing and snowboarding.

Shannon E. Wright joined ergo~health in March 2006 as Key Account Executive and has recently assumed the position of Director of Operations. Shannon has worked in a variety of positions in a cross section of media properties including Tribute Magazine, Teen Tribute, Kids Tribute, Flare, The National Post, Saturday Night Magazine and Standard Broadcasting. She has also worked at both Toronto Intercontinental Hotels and the SoHo Metropolitan. Shannon's educational background is in marketing and fashion merchandising, having studied at Fanshawe College. Shannon is a fitness enthusiast and active in volleyball, tennis, running and swimming.

Gwynne MacHattie, Controller, joined ergo~health in February 2007 and is an accounting manager with 25 years' experience in various industry sectors. Gwynne is a versatile team-player with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. She has extensive background in accounting and office management for the small business sector, including financial services, manufacturing, publishing and design. Gwynne has a Bachelor's Degree from University of Toronto.
